Jurong Real Estate
Jurong is Singapore’s largest HDB town accounting for almost 10% of the total number of HDBs. The upcoming 360ha Jurong Lake District is set to become the largest commercial and regional centre outside Singapore’s city centre and is set to create some 100,000 jobs.
Jurong residential property is located near high-value industries, the future Tuas Port, two world-class research universities – Nanyang Technological University (NTU) and National University of Singapore (NUS), and offers convenient connections to the city via the Ayer Rajah Expressway (AYE) and Pan Island Expressway (PIE) and Malaysia via the Tuas Second Link and Woodlands Causeway.
Jurong Gateway is host to an existing cluster of firms and public agencies such as the Building and Construction Authority (BCA) and the Singapore Food Agency (SFA).

Jurong is primarily segregated into Jurong East and Jurong West. Jurong East is mainly the hub and commercial node of Jurong where one can find a concentration of shopping malls and business parks. As a busy MRT and Bus Interchange, the MRT is interconnected with the North South Line, East-West Line and the future Jurong Region Line. From the MRT, you are able to stroll to JEM, JCube, IMM & Westgate shopping malls, the Jurong Regional Library and the Ng Teng Fong General Hospital.
In the middle of Jurong East and West is the Jurong Lake Gardens, the second and newest National Gardens in Singapore. The facilities you can enjoy there are water recreation facilities, playgarden, dog run, fishing areas, swimming pool and fitness corner. The Gardens will be fully completed in 2021.
Jurong West is home to one of the busiest wet markets and food centres in Singapore – Block 505 Jurong West Street 52, where you can get fresh produce and delicious hawker fares. Its also a bustling town centre comprising of banks, bakeries, jewellery stores, sundries and much more. In close proximity is Rulang Primary School, the most coveted primary school in Jurong where residents buy homes near it in order to get priority admission for their children. Further down West is one of Singapore’s largest suburban malls, JurongPoint where those working in Tuas and university students in Nanyang Technological University transit at.

Jurong as a residential area is often overlooked due to the close proximity to the industrialised Tuas sector. The heavy industry is located deep in Tuas, at the most south-western tip of Singapore. Tuas is set to expand as Singapore relocates and expands port operations with a mega terminal in Tuas.
