JURONG HDB (裕廊)

Jurong West is home to about 74,000 HDB flats and Jurong East has almost 24,000. Jurong HDB Estate was developed in the 1970s when estates such as Boon Lay, Taman Jurong, Hong Kah, Teban Gardens and Yuhua were developed with the resettlement of Hong Kah (present-day Tengah) and surrounding villages.

Jurong Region Line

Jurong is accessible via the East-West MRT line with Jurong East Interchange, Chinese Garden, Lakeside, Boon Lay and Pioneer serving the main HDB neighbourhoods. The addition of the Jurong Region Line (expected to be ready by 2028) will boost connectivity especially further into Jurong West and the new Tengah HDB Town.

HDB defines Jurong East as the area around Jurong Town Hall Road and the Pan Island Expressway as well as the Teban and Pandan estates. Jurong East is also part of the largest industrial area in Singapore.

With the government’s plans to transform Jurong into a second CBD and the creation of more jobs in this region, residents can look forward to stronger demand for residential units.

There are many HDBs located within walking distance to the MRT stations, which enhances convenience when commuting to the city centre. Jurong East Interchange is just 3 stops away to Buona Vista, a bustling business hub comprising One-North, Biopolis and Fusionopolis.
