The Japanese retailer announced on 1 July that it will close its Westgate outlet permanently from 3 August. The Westgate branch is Tokyu Hands’ first outlet in Singapore, opened in 2014.
Tokyu Hands is the latest in a string of retailers leaving the mall and Jurong Gateway. Isetan closed its Westgate outlet in March and Robinsons will leave its Jem location in August.
You can still get your Tokyu Hands fix at the five other outlets: Orchard Central, Suntec City, PLQ Mall, Jewel Changi Airport and Great World City.
